He graduated from Liberty University in 1988 with a Bachelor's degree in Finance and a dual-minor in the fields of Political Science and Bible Studies. Shortly after graduating, John Hyland started his first business, in the telecommunications industry, which would eventually grow to $7 million in revenue and 110 employees.
