Joker Costume Number One This Year?

Halloween is coming and the costume search is on again. So far the Joker costume is number one for this year, specifically the Heath Ledger portrayal of the Joker from "The Dark Knight", second in the newest version of Batman movies.
It's top rated for several reasons, including the tragic end of the actor Heath Ledger, which made its own headlines and kept the image of the Joker going for some time. Batman themed costumes have been at the top of the costume list for generations now.
This generation is no different. However, in this Joker costume version the face painting does not need the meticulous lines and clean edges of some of the earlier versions based on the comic book, animated series or the campy sitcom. Chalky white skin is a must. Red lips, absolutely. If you're going to use make-up, be sure to use a good moisturizer before applying the white base. The clean up will be much easier.
Then there are the clothes. Depending on which Joker you plan on playing, there will be a variety of costumes to choose from. The best selection by far will be for the new Dark Knight Joker costume.
Once you pick the style of clothes you want, you'll have to decide whether you want to wear a mask or go for makeup. For those not certain about doing the makeup, go for the mask. The special effects are built in, like the grin. You'll also have to decide on hair dye or a wig.
Hair dye? Oh yes, green if you please. Remember read the label carefully on any dye or temporary hair color you use. Blondes want to be especially careful of the dye. If you have a career that would not be enhanced by left over green locks after the festivities, perhaps a wig may be the better option, even for the dedicated perfectionist. Very likely a range of wigs will be available from the historical Joker to the current one, so please don't borrow grandma's wig and dye it (without her permission that is).
For the more adventurous, forget the mask, get a makeup kit with your Joker costume, and create your own look. Stage makeup does a better job for this than your typical everyday makeup. That's why they sell it at costume shops (or websites these days). You can also pick up latex 'scars' to go under the makeup. These pre-made items can make a great difference in your appearance. They attach with a little liquid latex or spirit gum.
Of course, you perfectionists may feel free to do your best to duplicate the costume down to the brand of buttons and the maker of the knife. Accuracy of recreating a particular character is its own reward and can be quite satisfying as wearable art.
In any case, choose your Joker costume style and go for it. It would be wonderful to see the history of Batman and the Joker through time parading through the Halloween streets. Get into the spirit of the night and have fun being either your favorite Batman or your favorite Joker.
Don't be caught short of choices by waiting to the last minute though, get your Joker costume early. They are going like "Mad"!

Halloween Treats for Your Joker

Once you've ordered a Joker costume, it's time to think about what your Joker might like to eat.
As you know, Halloween is all about the treats. So, how can you make some fun treats at home that your little ones will love? It's easier than you might think. Here are a few simple Halloween treats you can make in minutes.
Do you have some Halloween Cookie Cutters? That's all you'll need to make these first three fun and memorable Halloween treats.
Terrifying Tortilla Chips: Start with some flour tortillas and spray a bit of canola oil on them. Sprinkle parmesan cheese or cinnamon and sugar on them. Then cut fun shapes out of the tortillas with a bat, ghost or pumpkin cookie cutter. Put the shapes into the oven for a crispy treat.
Spooky Sandwiches: Make your favorite sandwich. Peanut butter and jelly works just fine. Then, using a cookie cutter, press hard into the sandwich and you'll get a spooky treat. If you use a pumpkin shape cookie cutter, add licorice or candy corn to make eyes and nose on a jack-o-lantern face.
Creepy Cheese and Cold Cuts: Buy packaged cheese (the kind that you peel the plastic off). Also, buy some cold-cuts. Using a cookie cutter, make spooky shapes. Present the cheese and cold cuts on a platter as an appetizer - or have a sandwich smorgasbord and allow your guests to use the creepy cheese to make their own sandwiches.
Here are a few more last-minute ideas for Halloween fun.
Wicked Witch Fingers: Do you have some dough and almonds? Believe it or not, you can make witch fingers. Just stretch out the dough into a "finger-shape" including a knuckle. Then, take the almond and press it into the end to make the fingernail. You can experiment with different colors to make witch fingers creepier. "Paint" the fingernail with food coloring (grey or black is perfect), or make the dough a creepy green color. Oooh%u2026 spooky!
Green Anything: Take your favorite foods and add a drop of green food coloring to them. Are you in the mood for French toast? Make it green. How about pudding? Make it green. You can even serve green milk with your cookies. You'll be the coolest mom on the block.
And of course anything green is perfect for this year because it will match the green hair and the green vest of your child's Joker costume.
Remember, The Joker is hot this Halloween. Joker costumes are selling quickly. If you don't want your child to miss out, make sure you grab them (and yourself) a Joker costume right away.

- The best part of the movie in my opinion. When the Joker uses that nurse custom it was extremely funny, disgusting and macabre at the same time. However, Generic Viagra is always good. Viagra Viagra Without Prescription
