Journeyman was canceled :(

It is unfortunate that NBC has canceled Journeyman while it kept getting better and better in its first and only season (half season).

Journeyman is about a guy that time travels and fix things in the past. He gets thrown into the past, and has to figure out what to do once he's there. The usual plot has him focusing on helping one person in the past. He'll go back and forth between future and various times in the past to help the person.

Friendly Skies

Journeyman episode 2 - this one is cool because he goes missing from an airplane when he gets flung back in time to the 70s to help a woman deliver a baby. I wondered if all airplanes are really like that in the 70s. And that is just the beginning of the episode...

Game Three

Journeyman episode 3 - In the third episode, he was sent back to 1989 for just one day, hours before the big earthquake hit in San Francisco. He wanted to save a lot of lives and struggled with the fact that he can't just call someone and tell them there's going to be an earthquake (they'll think he's crazy.) He also tried calling in a terrorist threat and told them to clear all the bridges, etc, but that didn't help. He was meant to help a gambler get his life back.

I think that the X-mas party episode touched the wrong nerve with 1 of the NBC exec's. Spoiled brat takes over "daddy's" job in a sinister manner, and it hits too close to home. NBC is a "NEWS" network, not too unlike a newspaper. Perhaps the show made them feel guilty and they choosed to hide from their guild by canning the show. That script crosses their desk and the show is over? Very suspicious. I am furious that such an excellent show is canceled. If they don't renew it, then they had better sell it to some other network, so the show can survive. It would be a pleasent improvement if the show went to "Sci-fi".

I just thought it was on hiatus due to the writers strike. Why is is it good quality interesting gets cancelled before they are given a chance for it to catch on ? !

At last a show my wife and I could enjoy from many angles it made you think, feel , hope, care about th characters, what happened? NBC serves our entertainment needs not their own. Tell why you disappointed so many of your viewers. And no we won't get over it
