As For those Custodial parents out their that are keeping the other parent whom ever it may be , out of their child's life all you are doing is damaging your children and setting them up for failure.

- It's hard work keeping both parents fully involved after a split, and well worth the self-control to insulate the children from bitterness between former spouses. You won't always succeed, if you're as human as most of us, but never give up thinking of the kids first. They need the love.

- I think equal parenting is a great thing, unfortunately it is not always possible. In my son and my case his biological father chooses to not take part. Fortunately for us, we found a great guy who fills the role of responsible male role-model.

Why Is equal parenting important?
Equal parenting is very beneficial to children, and their parents. parents are naturally proud of their children no matter what they do. You should also be proud of the person that helped you create that child. Children Need dads to, moms are great but you wouldn't be a mom without a dad. You should not reprimand your children because of a few minor errs in life that have left you sore. People need to get a grip on the things that are important in life. It's not all about winning and taking there needs to be more give and live. How do you expect your children to grow up and be respectable mature adults when the adults in their lives can't do the same. I know a lot of people who are suffering because the one thing in life that keeps them going is ripped from their finger tips. So many children cry themselves to sleep each night because of the absence of someone so dear to them, and What can they do? For Some stupid reason people don't listen to what the children have to say they are to busy deciphering all the bickering and accusations that the parents are making at one another. Like i said before parents need to be less selfish and start thinking about the well being of their children and just because it isn't right for you to be with the other parent does not mean it is not right for the children. You can choose who to love and when to love, but children will forever love their parents no matter what anyone ever has to say about them including the other parent. When your goal in life is to make you child hate their other parent you most likely will be the one whose hated. Parent need to let children figure out their feelings on their own, and not treat them any different because of their feelings. Encouragement, maturity, and selflessness is the key to equal parenting.
