Jumpgate Evolution is an upcoming massively multiplayer online game (MMOG) set in a sci-fi world. It is being developed by NetDevil and published by Codemasters. The release date was delayed and is to be announced later. You can signup for the beta at this time on the official website: us.jumpgateevolution.com.

The game features twitch-based, real-time space action including missions, AI enemies, and massive player-versus-player battles. The game economy is player-driven: protecting trade routes or delivering supplies are important parts of the game.

Game Features

Jumpgate Evolution will let you jump into the cockpit and fly your ship just by moving your mouse, giving sci-fi fans a unique opportunity to experience a large and versatile universe. As a space hero from one of the three different nations: Solrain, Quantar, or Octavius, players can interact with both PvP and PvE content earning advancement through combat, mining, missions, exploration, and trade.

From a variety of small fighter ships and capital ships to giant battle stations, players will be able to engage in galactic space combat for an MMO experience unlike any other. Visually stunning graphics at minimum PC specs, accessible yet rich gameplay, and advanced AI are just some of the prominent features of this new epic and dynamic online universe.

Exhilarating space combat: engage in dog-fights, challenge thousands of players and use your skills and determination to achieve victory. Buy new and more powerful space ships. Participate in massive PvP battles of epic proportions for global domination!

Huge and beautiful universe: every jump will take you to new exotic locations, but beware of pirates, brigands, enemy factions, and many other dangers lurking in the vastness of space.

Three playable nations: make your choice and join either the corrupt and power-hungry Solrain, the disciplined, combat ready Octavian or the spiritually-led Quantar.

Player-driven economy: players are given the ultimate control and freedom. Protecting merchant vessels traveling on the trade routes or delivering vital supplies to your allies will help you and your allies prosper and grow. The game also includes many non-combat activities such as mining, manufacturing, hauling, selling and trading products.

Highly accessible game: integrated voice chat and reasonable minimum game requirements (see below) ensure smooth gaming experience even on low-end PCs despite the stunning graphics of JGE.
