Who Is Justin Spring?

Justin Spring was born on March 11, 1984 and is the son of Woody and Debbie Spring. Both of his parents were college gymnasts, and his sister Sarah competed in gymnastics at Ohio State University. Inevitably, Justin started gymnastics in 1987 at the ripe old age of 3.

He was an All-American from 2003-2006 at the University of Illinois and when he was a senior, he won the Nissen-Emery Award and was named the Big 10 Gymnast of the Year.

He is currently a assistant coach at the University of Illinois and he plans to take graduate courses at Illinois while continuing to train and coach.

Justin comes home from Beijing with a bronze medal from the team competition.
