Kathleen Hanna is a talented American musician from Olympia WA, notorious feminist icon and zine-writer also known with the stage name of Julie Ruin.
She was the singer of Bikini Kill and is the current singer of Le Tigre; she also released a solo album called Julie Ruin. Kathleen Hanna is married to Adam Keefe Horovitz from Beastie Boys.

Bikini Kill is an influential band in the riot girls (riot grrrls) scene. Members of the band are Kathleen Hanna, Tobi Vail, Kathi Wilcox and Billy Carren.Originally from Olympia, they have released four albums and several singles and compilations.
