Just west of the border between Kansas and Missouri lies Olathe, Kansas. Olathe is a small town with a strange name and a story behind it. Apparently the man who founded the spot where Olathe would eventually be established took one look at the prairies, covered with colorful wildflowers swaying in the wind.
