One of the main attractions in Hutchinson, Kansas is the Kansas Cosmosphere.
One of only 4 cosmospheres in the world!!
Inside you will find a planetarium, space museum, Imax Dome theater and laser light shows. Some of the finest space artifacts of the world, including the original Apollo 13 space shuttle, are inside the space museum. You will also find the largest collection of Russian artifacts in the western world. You can even touch the Berlin Wall. They offer Space Camp as well.

- I love this place! Used to go there when we visited Hutch. Haven't been there in years. It is a must see if you are anywhere near it! Thanks for the cool lens. I'm off to your Hutchinson lens now :)

- I was curious about what a cosmosphere was and I found this definition on Wiki: "a hollow glass globe for depicting the position of the earth in relation to the fixed stars at a given time".
Kind of neat, the museum you have written about shows our relationship here on Earth (Kansas, to be specific) to the cosmos and other places on our globe. Cool!
I am lensrolling this lens to my article about the Fick Fossil and History Museum in Oakley, KS. The next time I travel thru KS, I must visit your cosmosphere.
