Lapbooks hold the child's interest because they are making it on something they are interested in. They are also fun to build. It's even fun to find the information and photos that you want for your lapbook.
I am making our firist lapbook in to it's own lenses, but probably will put future ones all in to one lens that I can update each time we make a new one.
Kansas was my choice this time around. January 29th marked Kansas' 148th birthday. There were lots of great things in the newspaper and that's what got my mind to thinking that a lapbook on Kansas should be the first one that we do.

- What a wonderful way to compile all the information you learned about your home state of Kansas. Please add a link to this site in the appropriate Plexo on 50 States where I am compiling the best lenses to help children learn about each of the states.
