Kara DioGuardi is a Part of Platinum Weird
Platinum Weird is a musical collaboration formed in 2004 between Dave Stewart and Kara DioGuardi. It is also the subject of an elaborate hoax placing the band in 1974, including a half hour mockumentary produced for television network VH1 and a series of bogus World Wide Web fan sites and related false documents for the 'lost' group.

This is simply one of the best pop albums of 2006. Every song is memorable and instantly recognizable, and Dave Stewart's guitar work is quite masterful. For any fan of Stewart, it's great to see he's found another fine vocalist as a partner.
Although she does not quite match Lennox's richness as a vocalist, Kara DioGuardi's performance is spellbinding in that she can totally disguise herself into two different styles and do so with amazing success.

No, Three Is Enough!
Brandon says:
I don't like Kara at all. She almost seems like she's jealous of some of the contestants. I hope they get rid of her. I liked it better with just Paula, Randy, and Simon.

Gibo says:
No, I think Kara is annoying and they should get rid of her for next season. The original 3 judges was perfect.

Actually they could replace Paula and Simon from what I've seen. (I don't actually watch the show) Hope Kara fits in well!
poddys wrote...
Interesting. I wonder if it's a fourth judge for now, and then replacing Paula the following season. Paula does seem out of it sometimes, but she does add an interesting factor to the judging. Never heard of Kara before, but I think changing the judges should be interesting. 5***** for a nice lens.
