My Etsy!

This lens is about what I have for sale on my Etsy and a little of why I do all this. It includes many crocheted items, bags, scarves, my photography, and my DIY items.

Sales!

http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5422447&section_id=5642564

Check out the new Cro-Wigs. These are to help cancer patients going through chemotherapy to have a neat hat that kind of looks like a wig. I'll start a lens on this soon with more detail.
These look great on anyone though! My friends tried them on and loved them, they look so wintery if you do have hair. Plus for every one Cro-Wig sold, my mom and I donate one to the local cancer center here in Springfield. So check out the description, it explains more, and I'll start a new lens explaining why we're doing this and we think it's a great cause.

What do you have for sale?

All kinds of stuff!

1. Photo Prints. They are photos that I have taken and am proud to show and hope you are proud to put up on your wall. They are all printed on acid free photo paper to ensure they last as long as possible. Sizes available are 4X6, 5X7, and 8X10. They can be mated and framed as well.

2. Crochet items. Which includes scarves, ipod cases, soap coozies, market bags, whatever else I can think of. More scarves will be up when it gets closer to winter of course. The ipod cases, soap coozies and market bags are all made from 100% cotton and are extremely durable. I've put my ipod case through the mill and it's in excellent condition. The soap coozies are like a wash cloth, but you can put your homemade bar of soap inside, rub it together and it gets all sudsy for you, but saves the soap as well.

3. DIY Items. I LOVE clothes. And I love the punk style. But all the cool punk diy clothes I saw for sale were for size small. Right now what I have up is smaller, but will be getting up some cool large sized clothes this summer. Well, I hope you think they're cool!

4. Stuffed Animals. Right now I only have Semi Colon the Cyclops up because I haven't had the time between school and work to make more. But there will be more soft and cuddly buddies up this summer!

5. Misc. items. Including vintage clothes or supplies. You never know what it will include. At the moment, nothing, but keep checking. You never know what you'll find.

Custom orders?

Sure! I've been making stuff for my friends and even a couple of customers at the coffee shop I work at! Please take into consideration that I can't make you a fancy couture fashion dress. I'm not that good with the sewing machine yet.

I love working on jackets and vests the most. I have my prized patched jacket in the featured picture in this module. It's not for sale! If you want a jacket with all your favorite bands and colors and spikes or studs but don't want to do it, they aren't cheap in the end. It's a lot of hard work. I do have a lens on DIY jackets also. Link below

Inspirations?

Punk.
The music, the attitude, the beginnings of it. Please don't assume that punk is just a look, it's a feeling of not wanting to be like everyone else. It's about doing what you want and if it makes you stick out like a sore thumb, what do you care? When the whole revolution started it was a bunch of misfit kids who really didn't care that their clothes were mismatched or not as trendy.
There are certain clothes that make a person automatically think punk, and it's been stigmatized from years of kids wearing what they thought was cool, and even today, to some of us, it's still cool to dig out that falling apart mohair sweater. Those way to tight skinny jeans, or that jacket that you've worn so much you need band patches covering it.

Bright colors.
My mom swears I'm colorblind because I'll put together an outfit that looks like I just blindly grabbed items. Somehow I can get by with it though. Black and white, same old same old, just bores me. I like things to pop out at you. I try to wear bright colors to brighten moods too. You know those colors that just make you smile? I like those.

Photography:
Please see my Unknown Photography lens. It explains where I've taken almost all of my photos. It's hard to explain in a paragraph.

Crocheted stuffs?
I've been crocheting since I was a little kid. And it's hard for me to sit still through a two hour movie at home, so I usually am making something while watching tv. I find weird and funky yarns and see what I can do.
Right now I'm making a blanket out of all the extra pieces of yarn that are too short to do anything complete with, but I couldn't just trash them. So far this blanket is turning out pretty darn cool!

Payment Methods

I accept paypal, RME, google checkout, Money Orders, Cashiers Checks, and Personal Checks.
I'm pretty open to all forms of payment.

In case you haven't heard of RME, it's Revolution Money Exchange. Similar to Paypal but completely free of charges! It does charge for overdrawing your account and having to send out paper checks, but does state that very clearly when you sign up. It's very easy to use and free!

Here in Springfield, MO we have a deal called First Friday Art Walk and all the stores downtown on the square are open and artists can display their items. I'm going to be showing again at a neat little store called Fashioned by Jaye this upcoming Art Walk.
And to celebrate (well kinda) I have made an updated list of prices, new sizes, and even framed photos of mine.

If you want a print framed and matted:
8X10 gets a mat to 11X14 and is framed for $40.00
5X7 gets a mat to 8.5X11 and is framed for $20.00
4X6 gets a mat to 5X7 and is framed for $12.00

For just prints:
8.5X11 is $20.00
5X7 is $12.00
and 4X6 is $6.00

Soon I will be working on ACEO's and listing those on Etsy as well.
