Kids Party Food & Kids Party Favors

So you are having a kids party. Well, coming up with simple creative and unique party food ideas is not always easy for everyone. Some party foods may be simple and delicious. Depending on the kids party theme, other creative and more unique kids party food ideas may be in order.

We will talk about a few common and not so common kids party food examples and what is involved in making them.

KIDS PARTY FOOD IDEA #1 - CHOCOLATE DIPPED RED LICORICE

This is a nice simple sweet treat that is great for any childrens party.

What You Need:

-Red Twizzlers or Red Nibs (full length) licorice. Obviously you need to get your specific desired number of red licorice.

-Milk chocolate chips or milk chocolate bars (Milk chocolate is creamier and melts more smoothly than semi-sweet)

-Waxed paper

-Platter or tray

-Small sauce pan

1.) Place milk chocolate chips or chocolate bars in saucepan on low heat, stirring regularily.

2.) Once chocolate is melted keep on very low heat. Take 1 licorice at a time and dip the ends (up as far as you desire.)

3.) Dip as many licorice as you need. Once dipped, place on sheet of waxed paper (this will make for easy removal once they have cooled and chocolate has hardened)

4.) Place on counter or in refridgerator until hardened and cool.

5.) Place on platter or serving tray for party guests to enjoy!
