What Are You Going To Do With The Mini Atv Your Kids Have Outgrown?

Converting a MINI ATV into a radio control Big Boy Toy
I have this Mini Atv 50cc that I paid through the nose, so my kids could ride along side of me. Then I fed them (I think the law says I have to do that) and guess what? They grew and no longer could fit on it. So I got this bright idea.... I am going to convert it over to a radio control 3 channel. One will be for left and right-One for throttle and brake-One for starting. Down the road I plan on eventually having a remote start. This is a picture of me starting to take the body off. As time permits I will be posting on how this is going so keep checking back.

Removing The Body of the Mini ATV To Get To The Frame
Okay, taking off the body is not that big of a deal but I wanted to add another picture of my Mini lift jack. SHHH, do not tell the wife but I just had to buy this and I have not told her I took a check to do it. If you do not see me writing for awhile it is because she found out and well you know the rest of the story. She Has Not Killed Me Yet-So I Have Been Working On The Radio Control Mini ATV
The Making Of The Triple Servo Steering Tray
I have used my machinist mill to make my triple servo steering tray. I have contructed this from aluminum and just traced the outline onto it. Then I machined it out so the servos would fit snugly. I will try to post all of the pictures of the whole process. The next step will be to install the servo steering tray. Look for future updates on this lens.
Changes in the Servo Tray
I had a better idea and went with it
I had to change the Servo Tray design mentioned in the previous module because I realized the first prototype was not going to work. I was lucky enough to be able use the prototype as a pattern so all was not lost. The second servo tray is installed and ready to be hooked up to the steering. Picture shows servos mounted in tray.
