Kinesiology Tape was developed over 20 years ago by Dr. Kenzo Kase Japan. The tape has become the standard for therapeutic rehabilitative taping.
The kinesiology taping process consists of taping over and around muscles to assist and support them or to prevent their over-contraction. The support offered by the tape allows the wearer to maintain the full range of motion in physical activity. Secondly, the tape can prevent overuse or over-contraction and can help facilitate lymph flow.
