KitchenAid Artisan 5 Qt Stand Mixers - The New Classic in the Kitchen

KitchenAid has been making mixers since 1919. In that time, their stand mixers have gone through many changes. But the KitchenAid quality has remained consistent. The KitchenAid Artisan 5 Quart Stand Mixers with over 25 colors available have become the new classic in the kitchen. Their power and size makes them the perfect fit for the average household.

With the many accessories available, the Kitchen Aid Artisan Mixers can accomplish numerous jobs. KitchenAid even has other kitchen appliances in matching colors to create a perfectly accessorized kitchen.

KitchenAid Artisan 5 Quart Stand Mixers - Features to Love

The KitchenAid Artisan 5 Quart Stand Mixers are the largest tilt-head mixers available. This allows easy access to the 5 quart bowl and the beater attachments.

The 67 point planetary mixing motion ensures that the ingredients are mixed thoroughly. The 325-Watt motor can power through up to 9 cups of all purpose flour at a time.

Clean-up with the KitchenAid Artisan 5 Quart Stand Mixer is a breeze. The stainless steel bowl, nylon-coated flat beater, and nylon-coated "C" dough hook are all dishwasher-safe. The mixer itself can be easily wiped with a damp cloth, and the stainless steel whip is hand-washable.

It's nice to know what others think

Before making a space for the KitchenAid Artisan 5 Quart Stand Mixers on your counter, maybe you'd like to hear what others have to say.

There is a reason why professionals prefer to use Kitchenaid Stand Mixers. They are simply the best. This is not only an appliance that will last a lifetime, it is a beautiful addition to any kitchen decor. I loved mine so much I bought one for my sister as a housewarming gift.
The mixer is fun and easy to use. I love making cookies and cakes in it, and pizza dough takes about 2 minutes to make with the dough hook. I don't recommend making pie crusts or biscuits in it though, some things just must be made by hand or they will be overworked and tough. But I don't buy pre-made cake frosting anymore. It's too easy to whip up something in the kitchenaid, and it tastes better too.
I would think that the only people who wouldn't like this excellent piece of equipment are those who really don't cook or bake much anyway. For everyone else, do yourself a favor and get one!

I've had a KA stand mixer in one form or another for about 25 years. I've owned an Artisan for about 2 years now. I like to bake, especially bread, and the mixer never lets me down. I bake for just my wife and me, and the Artisan is perfect for us. If I was baking triple batches of cookies or bread recipes with 8 cups of flour, I'd want to move up to the 6 quart pro version.
Last X-mas my wife gave me The Mixer Bible for a gift and it's really expanded my use of the mixer. It has a ton of great recipes (pierogi, yum!) and has convinced me that the food grinder will be on my birthday wish list this year.
For as much as the mixer costs, the extra few bucks to buy the book is so worth it!

As a former chef and current food service director of a large, contract catering facility, I have used KitchenAid mixers for approximately fifteen years. No bones about it, this is a product that stands up to the rigors of a full service kitchen with multiple users and zero attention to maintenance, other than being sanitized at the end of the day. While we use commercial, floor standing Hobart mixers in the bakery, the KitchenAid table top model is in daily use in the main kitchen, which provides food service for over 1,000 people. This is a piece of equipment that you will buy once, then hand down to your kids. In the commercial food arena, a few names stand out: Robot Coupe, Hobart, Vulcan and KitchenAid. I doubt you will ever be disappointed with this mixer.
