This power combined with a 5 quart stainless steel bowl, allows the KitchenAid Artisan Chrome to power through recipes with up to 9 cups of all purpose flour.

KitchenAid's planetary motion mixing causes the beater to turn in the opposite direction of the shaft. This allows the beater to touch the bowl in 67 points ensuring all the ingredients are mixed thoroughly without having to rotate the bowl.

The tilt-head design allows easy access to the bowl's ingredients as well as the beaters.

And clean-up is easy! The stainless steel bowl, coated "C" dough hook, and coated flat beater can be placed in the dishwasher. A damp cloth cleans the machine easily. And the only piece that must be hand washed is the stainless steel whip.
