You would be amazed by the difference a backplate can make with a pull. It will bring out the color and style and make you feel like a king in your own kitchen. Pulls do require two screws, and a backplate can make it even more difficult to drill these holes in any good way.

Kitchen cabinet pulls are great for people who want something easy to grab on to. They look great, can be accented to look even better by using a backplate. You do not ever have to worry about your pull falling off due to a double screw in model. Pulls are really the most secure way to have a piece of cabinet hardware installed.
