- Java Old City
Java is Knoxville's oldest coffee house. It's located almost center of Knoxville's Old City. Clientele ranges from teens to young adults, and it's often SRO when there's a band playing there. They have a food menu, wide variety of coffee drinks, and indoor smoking. There's enough left of the original brick building they're in to have some real funk.

- Knoxville's Downtown Trolley Lines

Knoxville's Downtown Trolley System has five lines, including a late line from 8 pm to 3:30 am on Friday & Saturday nights (great if you're pub crawling). It's free, fun, gives you an easy tour of Downtown, the Old City, and the University of Tennessee campus without parking stress.
Hint: 11th St. Coffee house is right by the trolley stop for the Knoxville Museum of Art.

- TDOT SmartWay Map For Knox County
- This smartmap from TDOT (Tennessee Department Of Transportation) shows not only an overview of Knoxville & Knox County's main roads and interstates, but gives you the ability to see to see the location of cameras, road construction, incidents, message signs, and hazardous road conditions.
There are also options to view sections of Knoxville's street system in more detail.
Hint: I'd advise checking for construction delays before heading into town; since the two biggest US interstates cross (and merge for a while) here, the heavy traffic necessitates constant road work.

Some items are available in larger take home containers and of course there's baklava.
