Kurdish Rugs

Kurds are an ancient people who speak an Indo-European language of Southwest Asia very close to Persian. Kurdistan (land of the Kurds) spans the junction of Iran, Iraq, and Turkey. But they are also found scattered across Iran the Caucasus and even in places such as Lebanon and Syria. The "Kurdish" language has two main branches Kurdish and Kurmanji.
