LUSH- "fresh handmade cosmetics"
In my opinion, LUSH makes simply the most unique and enjoyable bath products ever! They do lovely bath bombs (fizzies), scented bar soaps, natural shampoos, body gels and SO much more.

How I "met" LUSH
A few years ago, members of one of my online forums were raving about these bath products from a company called LUSH. I had never heard of it. Then I was directed to their website... but alas, at the time I was unable to shop online, and therefore had to look on in eager greed. I did, however, order a copy of their "LUSH Times" newsletter/catalog.Then, in 2005, I found myself going to spend several months living in the UK! And there, smack in the middle of downtown Leicester, was a real LUSH shop! I felt overwhelmed as I entered, gawking at bins of bath bombs, handmade soaps, and all manner of other unique bath products! I think I must have smelled every item in the place before settling on 3 to try.
That night the Sakura fizzie went into the bath, followed by myself... and I was hooked.

Not only all that, but they do not approve of ANY animal testing. In fact the company is campaigning against lab tests on all animals. Way to go, LUSH!!!

I love a number of Lush products. Smitten is an absolute fabulous hand cream. Their body washes rock. I've tried the bar soap but I'm not really a bar soap person now that I've crossed over to the dark side with body washes. They also have a natural hair lightener for blondes called Marilyn. I ordered online and was shocked at how quickly the stuff arrived. Then I found out there was one 40 minutes away. I highly recommend trying their products. Posted September 22, 2008 |
