Labrador Retriever Artworks and Gifts

Since I was a little kid, I've loved painting and drawing something. However, in my 20's, I had not painted anything, I recall. At that time, there was nothing what I wanted to paint, perhaps...

Anyway, after a very long break, I re-started painting. It's a long story, but, our black Lab Noiraud and computer gave me great inspiration in 1999. At first, I enjoyed playing with computer graphics and created animation gif and doggie website for Noiraud.

It was fun. It was a huge fun for me because inter-net offered me a great chance to meet Labrador people who lived in another countries. It was one of my dream to make friends over the sea.

And I made it!
I made lots of friends via inter-net. Such kind people encouraged me to paint Labradors. Without them, I wouldn't have re-started painting with brushes... I just want to thank them.

The above is my first acrylic painting. One of my friends adored it and suggested me to do painting for sale. She was special to me and she is no longer alive, but I believe that she is watching over me from heaven.

I painted this portrait for my friend when she lost her beloved Labrador.
It's always heartbreaking to see that my friends lost their dogs or beloved ones. One may write a beautiful poem and I paint...

When I see people's dogs beautiful photos, I get to know how much they love their dogs. It's just so beautiful and touching.

I painted this for my friend a few years ago.
It's a postcard sized and painted on a paper. I always love little things and it comes from my Japanese DNA, I believe. Painting is something nice because it can make somebody happy.
