How to protect your self with every day objects. That will allow you to protect yourself at the drop of a hat

5 Common Objects to Use for Self Defense

As someone who wants to defend herself using womens self defense tactics, a good thing to understand that some of the things you may be carrying around can also serve as makeshift weapons. However, if you don't practice with them, you will not get the most out of using them.

What follows is a list of items that people have used successfully for womens self defense. Out of the list, you may want to select a few to carry around with you. Put key items close to you, such as in your pocket or your hand, so that you can access them quickly.

1. A Set of Keys

When it comes to womens self defense, keys are indispensable. You can hold the individual keys between your fingers. Form your hands into a fist, closing them around the key so the points stick out through your fingers. When you use your hand to punch or slash, the keys can pack more of a wallop because of the sharp ends. This is a womens self defense tactic anyone can do.

2. High Quality Pen

It is usually the case that we often have a pen in our purse, just in case. Most of us don't realize that they also serve as a good weapon for womens self defense. The more high quality it is, the better because you'll need a solid pen with good points. Use it to stab the assailant's face or other sensitive places.

3. Leather Belt

A belt can also be a good womens self defense weapon because it can double as a whip. If you whip it through the air with the buckle side used for striking, this makes it even more effective.

4. Using Coins

Coins are also a good womens self defense weapon. They are simple to use because most of us already have them. Use them to throw at the attacker. They may seem small, but they can sting if they hit the right spots. To use them, practice aiming at objects for increased accuracy.

Some womens self defense tactics teach you how to use your purse as a weapon. Use a purse that is firm and somewhat heavy for best results. It is best used as something to hit your attacker with. However, it can also be used as a shield if your attacker has a knife.

When it comes to womens self defense, you need to learn how to protect yourself. Sometimes, it makes sense to use a makeshift weapon. Other times, finding it could be a hindrance. Learning how to use them and access them ahead of time can give you an edge.

Good lens, but as a practicing Martial Artist, may I make the following suggestion regarding coins: because of their light weight, they are fairly ineffective as an assault weapon. Throwing them at an attacker is better utilized as a distraction, either to buy you an moment to escape, grab a weapon from your environment, or if you are close enough, to kick him in the groin while he is distracted from the coins. No matter what self defence tactics you use, just remember your goal is not to "kick his ass", but to secure your safety and escape.
