- Pend Oreille is simply breath taking. I started spending my summers on the lake when I was 2yrs old. My grandfather wanted to bring me up but my mom was worried cuz he was crippled. So on his hands and knees he built a fence around the property and my mom couldn't say no. Of course she too would come up as well but I spent many hours fishing with my grandpa on Pend Oreille.
