If you grew up reading or watching Little House on the Prairie, you cant help but fall in love with Laura Ingles Wilder because of her spunky character. Although her books and movies provided great entertainment for the whole family, she shared so much more with us as well as many future generations to come from the time she penned her first books about her life.

- As a young girl when The Little House shows first came on TV , me and my best girl friends would rush home to do our home work so we would be allowed our TV time and this was our absolute favorite. To this day it is an inspiration to me, and I can remember fondly my friends an I making a club house and pretending we were living in Plum Creek. It was and still is some of my best childhood memories to date of my own childhood. What a joy she has been for so many people and I'd just like to add like the other comments here by fans. Thank you for sharing and giving us a glimps into the past. I only wish you were still alive to see the series and know how many families you touched in such an incrediable way. It made me wish I could go back in time and live in those truly historic and family oriented times. Your Fan for Life,Karen

- My mom cried while watching it. I watched the Christmas We'll Never Forget and we thought that Laura was so nice to sell her horse to buy the stove for her mom. I love the movies.

- I have read the entire collection at least 20 times since I was in 3rd grade. I included her in my lens about inspiring teachers because her portrayal of herself was my reason for becoming a teacher.
Thank you for putting together such a wonderful tribute to such awe inspiring writer.
