Lavender Eye Pillows
To make this recipe:
To make a small, rectangular shaped eye pillow from the fabric of your choice.Something like soft organza is very nice to use. Comes in many colors too. Simply cut the shape out and sew three and 1/2 sides together with the fabric inside out. Then turn the fabric right side out and fill the pillow loosely with equal parts of lavender and flaxseeds. The flaxseeds can be purchase at a health food store. Then stitch the last of the pillow together and add a pretty ribbon bow to the top or leave it plain, whatever you like. To relieve eye stress while laying down place the pillow directly over closed eyes to benefit from the soothing lavender properties. This makes a lovely gift too! Package in a pretty gift box and give one to a friend or co-worker.
