Lawn moles are members of the mammal family and have cylindrical bodies which are covered in fur. Their eyes are very small or covered and they their ears are usually not visible. Moles primarily eat earthworms and other invertebrates found in the soil. Lawn moles are considered to be agricultural pests in many areas while in other places, such as Germany, they are protected specie.
