Learn How to Hypnotize People for FUN (and Profit $$$)

The real, gets results stuff.

I was surprised to find that it is so much easier to be like Obi Wan than to do Performance Hypnosis (aka entertainment stuff). The Obi Wan stuff, also called Conversational Hypnosis, is an art. You can start applying it right away, and the benefits only grow as you get better at it.

While most people will never be able to convince a cashier to hand them money, a moderately skilled individual could easily use these techniques to say...Get a job promotion (Cha-Ching).

First some grown up talk, yes this works like magic, but it's not magic, which means it may not work 100% for every subject, so don't try to talk down a hostage situation or anything crazy like that, unless you get reeeeaallly good at it. So now that the grown up talk is over, its back to the fun, here are the.....

Seriously this is step one. It's called establishing "Rapport" or making them trust you. You want to put their mind at ease here; you don't want to sound like an obnoxious little "yes man" that will have the opposite effect. So the next time your boss comes in and hands you some crazy project, that he or she needs done right now, agree with them (try not to sound sarcastic). Say "your right this is very important, I am going to get on it right away" This is comforting, it lowers their defenses and makes it much more likely that you can impact them.

Ok, I know we sound like a bat XXXX crazy psychopath here, but it works, make them challenge the idea themselves. Going back to the boss analogy, you could then say, "Do you think we have anything more productive we should do?" (Be sincere here or it won't work)

Now that they are a little off balance, redirect them, you could say to your boss "we have more important things do to, lets prioritize together". Now remember even though this is scientifically based, its more of an art. You may not get it right the first time, and every subject is different, so what works for one many need to be changed for another.

Ok, Hypnosis isn't always going to work the first time; it depends on several factors...

• Your subjects temperament


• Their emotional state


• How big of a change of thought you are asking them to make


• The social status differences between you (you may need to work on a boss a few more times than a spouse for example)

* There are some individuals, on whom this will never work, as some people are just not susceptible to this sort of suggestion.

When you're finished, (if you've done it correctly), you not only got them do to what you wanted, but they feel good about it, in fact they probably think the whole thing was there idea.

Now you might think I am encouraging you to be some sort of sociopath, I'm not. Those with sociopaths tendencies don't give a rip about how their victims feel.

Furthermore, you cannot turn someone into a sociopath with an article, being a sociopath is more of a life long journey kind of thing.

I am however giving you tools to get what you want, while validating the other persons emotions (step 1), challenging their assumptions (step 2), being a concerned leader (step 3). These are all socially productive and happy things to do, ask any therapist. So go ahead, try to hypnotize someone for fun....
