Jimmy Page
The guitar god!
Jimmy Page was born in 1944 and soon began his career in london. He was a self taught guitarist, and begain playing at the tender age of 14.
Page has been described as "unquestionably one of the all-time most influential, important, and versatile guitarists and songwriters in rock history".
"He has been ranked one of the best guitarists of all time, and been ranked into the guitar hall of fame twice."
Page was born in Heston, West London and grew up a difficult life.
He was a heavy drug user, however, treatment has made him a much more healthier, god if you will

The name
Robert Plant
Epic Vocals!
Born in 1948, West Bromwich England, Robert Plant was a songwriter and lead vocal. He dropped out of school ealry and search for recognition. In 1968, Plant met Page in auditions for page's new band.
"When I auditioned him and heard him sing, I immediately thought there must be something wrong with him personality-wise or that he had to be impossible to work with, because I just could not understand why, after he told me he'd been singing for a few years already, he hadn't become a big name yet. So I had him down to my place for a little while, just to sort of check him out, and we got along great. No problems" - Jimmy Page
1968 was when the magic happened, Led Zeppelin was born!!!

The zeppelin
John Paul Jones
Brilliant Bass!
Krazy (yes with a k) Keyboardist, and many other instruments.Born in 1946, Jones was known widely for his musically abilities and was quickly discovered and recorded. He had crossed paths with Jimmy Page numerious times which eventually led him to the formation of Led Zeppelin in 1968.
This of course, was a definite yes for Jones.
Their Greatest Work
Stairway To Heaven
Stairway to Heaven Secret???
Did you now that when stairway to heaven is played backwards it contains a satanic message? At least that's what the rumor says......
Zeppelins greatest Album
John Bonham
The greatest drummer of all time!
Born in 1948, in Redditch, Worcestershire, England, Bonham was a young drummer at the age of 5. He never had a real drum set untill 15, where he was self taught and talented too. When Led Zeppelin was first created, Robert Plant wasnt the first pick, Terry Reid was. However, he had already signed another contract.
Robert Plant was then picked, and he had then suggested John Bonham for the drummer role.
This led to the creation of the best band ever made.
Bonham was known for the work of "pats delight" which is now called Moby Dick.
This featured a half hour long drum solo, and was named the best of all time.
Bonham, has a dark side too. He was a heavy drug user and died of overdose.

Led Zeppelin for life!!peace :D
Zeppelin takes on DvD
Where did the name Led Zeppelin Come from?
Well, the story as it goes in the autobiographies, (possibly the most reliable source), is that the name came from the fact that jimmy actually proposed to keith moon to be the drummer of led zeppelin (of course not called that at the time.) However, Moon was happy in the who and told jimmy that he thought the idea would go over "like a lead balloon". Wel, jimmy loved it and after changing the spelling to led (to avoid mis-prounounciation) they changed from the new yardbirds to led zeppelin

Been a big Zep fan for years. They are immortal and no one can ever compare, along with Floyd, The Eagles, and select couple others. 5***** to you.
