Lee Chong Wei - The Very Talented Badminton Player
Lee Chong Wei has been trying to overtake Lin Dan to become the No 1 badminton player in the world for quite some time now. It looked like he would make it back then but somehow he didn't have that just a little more extra mental strength to overcome the pressure that comes along. He has always shown some inconsistency in his play.
Sometime Lee Chong Wei plays like no one can beat him but on another day he is just like an average player. Maybe this upcoming 2008 Beijing Olympic he could finally show the world that he has already understood what champion are made of.

The following is Lee Chong Wei biography, his sports profile and latest achievement.
Datuk Lee Chong Wei (, born in George Town, Penang; October 21, 1982) is a professional badminton player from Malaysia. He is a silver medalist in men's singles event during the 2008 Olympic Games, ending Malaysia medals drought in the Olympic Games since 1996, and Najib Tun Razak described him as the national hero through his superior display during the Games.
He reached the top of the Badminton World Federation's world ranking on August 21, 2008, making him the third Malaysian men's singles shuttler after Rashid Sidek and Roslin Hashim to do so. He is also the first Malaysian shuttler to stay on the top of the ranking for more than two weeks. Despite his status as world number one, he has never won the World Championships.
