Lego Technic Rocks
As one does along the years, you lose touch with such hobbies when other things start to take away your attention - girls being one of those such things!!
So many many years have passed and it wasn't until a couple of months back that I found myself online and completely be coincidence ending up on the Lego website. WOW, how things have changed since the time I last built lego, what a great site!! So many different products and also interactive games etc. It truely awakenend the Lego fan of old within me, I ordered myself a Tow Truck there and then.
Tow Truck
What I thought about the Tow Truck
The attention to detail that Lego have put into this truck is impressive. The most impressive of those has to be the motor - incredible - it has a v6 engine with moving pistons! I was a little unsure whether they were actually going to work but they do perfectly. The build took me a couple of enjoyable evenings to do and all in all it wasn't too fiddley.
The Hook has impressive strength, I have since tested lifting and towing some of the larger Technic models with it and it hasn't tipped over once.
Overall I am very very happy with the Tow Truck and look forward to building its successer in the future.

Combine Harvester
Notes on the Combine
Again impressive here is the attention to detail that Lego have managed to employ here. The Moving segments are fantastic and even a farming friend of mine commented on how realistic it was, especially impressed by the moving thrashing bar - not bad. I spent just over an evening putting it together, spilling over to the next morning and have not yet had the guts to take it apart to re-build it as a Dragster that they advertise you can.A good purchase, also at a very reasonable price!

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
My favorite Technic Car at present.
A slighty more expensive kit, but expected as its a Ferrari;)I spent a very enjoyable evening with my brother putting the Ferrari together. I had seen a similar engine design in the Tow Truck but my brother was amazed, I too was again impressed.
The doors and trunk open of course and the steering wheel moves the front wheels. In terms of features the car isn't as good as some of the other Technic series but simply from its smooth looks and attention to detail - the Ferrari sign on the front grill for example - it rates very highly for me.
What can I say, I've always wanted a ferrari!!
