Canadian Poet, Leonard Cohen has been called a modern day Messiah. There is something very spiritual about him, almost religious. Retreating from the world into self reclusion, Cohen became a Zen Buddhist and turned his back on his music for the last ten years. His career spans around 50 years, during which time he has created some of the greatest lyrics every written.

His songs are merely his poetry set to music; He is a Rock Poet. Ripped off from his fortune and retirement fund by a former manager, Kelley Lynch, who sold the publishing rights to his back catalogue, to Sony, including the truly amazing song, Hallelujah.
