About LibertyUnchained, my Bonanzle Trading Post
This lens is to give people extra information about my store, show some of what can be done with Squidoo to better showcase a store, and keep track of my current outstanding issues with my favorite selling venue: Bonanzle
My primary Trading Post on the World Wide Web
Liberty Unchained at Bonanzle.com
I used to sell on both eBay and eCrater. These days, I sell on Bonanzle as it is the place that I have found to have the majority of what I have been looking for as a seller. While not perfect, the people running Bonanzle are adding new features requested by people and already offer a lot of very nice functionality from a selling standpoint. Some of my favorite features include the ability to chat with potential customers, the ease and speed of creating nice looking listings, and the integration with both google base and google analytics.
I sell a variety of items on by booth, but currently focus primarily on comic books, fiction by some of my favorite authors, two of my favorite role playing systems, and books related to conspiracy, law, and liberty...three of my favorite discussion topics.
My booth is currently named "LibertyUnchained's Bonanzle Booth" and the information below covers most of what I sell as well as payment and shipping information.

Horror, Manga, Barbarian, Superhero, and More

There was a time when I was working to buy, sell, and trade comic books with a few other people, but those days are in the past. Currently I have a few thousand comic books available from a variety of publishers.
My focus tends to be on non-super hero comics, typically Horror, Science Fiction, Manga, and Barbarian/Fantasy. I also try to carry at least a small selection of Western, War, Cartoon, and Romance comics...though it is rare that I have a lot of them on hand.
Most of the comics I carry I offer at half of Overstreet Guide values or lower, though there is an exception now and then.
Additionally, I try to keep at least a few comic books up as freebies.
Packaging
Comics are shipped sandwiched between cardboard slats for their protection and placed in boxes.
Shipping
In the united states, the first comic costs $4 to ship and each additional comic costs $0.25 to ship...with a maximum of $11 for up to 55 comics.
Individual Comics
Barbarian, Manga, Horror, Romance, Science Fiction and more
I also offer short runs of comics of lower value when I come across them, typically full four part series or short runs of a particular title.
Pick your own comics - 50 at a time
for lower value comics that make no sense to sell individually
For me, I rarely find it to be worth my time to bother selling comics worth less than about five dollars each individually.
Typically, dealers will attend conventions and bring multiple long boxes of low value comics and put them out for a dollar each, fifty cents each, etc. Often such boxes are in no particular order and are hard to find anything particular in.
As I do not attend conventions on a regular basis anymore, I offer such comics to anyone who wants them in lots of 50, hand picked by themselves.
If you look over the listing, you will find a few thousand comic books organized by publisher than title. Just pick out the comics you want, place and order and note which comics you want, pay for them, and I box them up, ship them out, and update the list.
Role Playing Games
Call of Cthulhu, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, and More

Throughout the years, especially in my youth, I have had a lot of fun with a variety of role-playing games.
Of all of the role-playing games I have come across, my three absolute favorites have been Call of Cthulhu, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, and Cyberpunk.
These days, while I play when I can, I also acquire and sell such games, particularly those which I, myself, prefer to play.
As strange as it may sound, I have learned quite a bit over the years by playing such games, especially concerning older ideas, history, and mythology.
Call of Cthulhu
A role playing game based upon the horror fiction of H.P. Lovecraft
Call of Cthulhu is a horror based role playing system based in good deal upon the mythos created by H.P. Lovecraft. It is a system where you take part in exploring supernatural and alien events. Unlike a lot of other systems, in Call of Cthulhu you can generally count yourself lucky if your character has not fallen victim to supernatural, occult, or alien forces or been taken to an insane asylum by the end of a campaign.
With rules for insanity based upon the idea that the more familiar you are with the Cthulhu Mythos, the less sane you can possibly be, a well run game can be quite entertaining.
Many of the books for Call of Cthulhu are out of print and/or hard to come by. I list those I currently have available in the Cthulhu RPG section of my booth...typically only having a few different titles on hand at any particular point in time.
For more information on the Call of Cthulhu role playing system, please stop by my Call of Cthulhu RPG lens.

Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay
A grim world of perilous adventure
Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, created by Games Workshop, is another one of my all time favorite role playing games. It stands apart from a lot of the other systems in the fact that it is not level based. Because of this, the disparity often found in level based games is missing...resulting in thinking, negotiation, and trickery playing a much larger role in Warhammer campaigns than in most other systems. Adventurers who tend to live by the sword all too often die by the sword.
The combat system is quick, efficient, and deadly. Progression can be slow or fast, but in this game system only the very foolish take an armed opponent lightly.
The published adventures tend to have a lot more detail and depth to them than those that are commonly found in other games...though of course there are a few exceptions.
For more information about Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, please stop by my squidoo page on the system!

Other systems and Related Magazines
Besides Call of Cthulhu and Warhammer Fantasy Role Play, I also tend to carry a variety of other random role playing games as well as magazines related to them. Most commonly I have Dragon Magazines available. However, I also do what I can to get Warhammer and Cthulhu related gaming magazines in as well.
I try to keep the prices on my offered magazines reasonably low and also typically have a few available as freebies...usually those which I feel are a little too beat up to bother selling buy still perfectly usable.
Books
Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, Law, Liberty, and Conspiracy

I am an avid reader and tend to always have a lot of extra books lying around.
As I primarily read science fiction, fantasy, horror, law, liberty related books and conspiracy related books, such are what I normally have available.
In some cases I will have the odd text book or other book up as well.
Books that are fairly beat up are typically offered as freebies unless they are older or hard to find.
Packaging
I package books with cardboard slats and bubble wrap so as to prevent damage in the mail. Single books and small orders typically go out in padded envelopes while larger orders go out in boxes.
Shipping
In the united states, shipping for the first book is $3.00 and for each additional book after that is $0.25.
Edgar Rice Burroughs
An excellent writer of adventure novels.
Edgar Rice Burroughs is among my favorite fiction authors. The first set of books which I ever read by him were the tales of John Carter of Mars, often referred to as his mars books. That being the case, I tend to pick up any of his books I come across and offer them in my booth.
His most prominent sets of books are his Tarzan books, his Martian Tales, and his Venus tales, though he has written plenty of other books as well. If you are looking for a good writer of adventure fiction, I highly recommend Burroughs.
Robert A. Heinlein
Science fiction at its best!
Robert A. Heinlein is among my favorite writer of science fiction novels.A few of his more well known books are Number of the Beast, Stranger in a Strange Land, The Cat Who Walks Through Walls, and The Moon is a Harsh Mistress.
Like Burroughs, I tend to pick up Heinlein novels as I come across them and offer them on my booth whenever possible.
If you like science fiction and have not read Heinlein, be sure to check a few of his books out to see what you think!
H.P. Lovecraft
Horror that uses your own mind to scare you
When I feel like reading stories of horror, I tend to seek out writings of H.P. Lovecraft that I have not come across before. In part this is because of my interest in the Call of Cthulhu role playing game, which is based upon the mythos developed by Lovecraft. However, it is also because I really enjoy his style of writing. Rather than describe everything in gory detail, he tends to give the reader just enough information to form their own ideas of what is going on, which I find to make his stories much scarier than most I have read.
While I do not tend to come across too many books by H.P. Lovecraft, when I do come across them I try to get them and offer them up after reading them.
Liberty Related and Law Books
Books for people who would be free
Two of my hobbies ( in fact, the ones that consume most of my reading and study time ) are liberty and law. There was a time when I couldn't stand law, but as I read more and more on the ideas of liberty and came to see just how far from them we are in many ways, I began to study law as well so that I might be better able to defend myself from those who would bend law to their own ends.
Because of this, I sometimes have extra books pertaining to both subjects on hand which I place up on my booth.
Conspiracy Related Books
Mixes of information, misinformation, and disinformation.
Like law and liberty, conspiracy is another one of my favorite hobbies.Whether it be looking into older conspiracies that have been proven or disproven, seeking information on more recent conspiracies such as those related to JFK, the moon landing, Martin Luther King, 911, or simply learning more about such groups as the trilateral commission, the council on foreign relations, the builderberger group, the illuminati, etc., I find conspiracies fascinating.
In almost every instance there are vast webs of fact, misinformation, and disinformation which must be sifted through and weighed for value. As I enjoy trying to figure out which parts of conspiracies are true, which parts are false, and which parts are carefully orchestrated deceptions designed specifically to keep people from knowing what really happened, I tend to have the odd "conspiracy" book on my booth as well.
Other Fiction and Non-Fiction Books
Typically they are text books or books I picked up to teach myself something and have no further use of.
Magic the Gathering Cards
Shadowmoor Rares and Uncommons

Currently I have a variety of Magic the Gathering (MTG) cards available on my Bonanzle booth, all of which are unused. At this time alI of what I have left is from the Shadowmoor set.
Packaging
I place all magic cards in soft sleeves and ship them out in hard sleeves stored in envelopes.
Shipping
Within the united states, I ship magic cards for $1.00 with no extra cost for shipping extra cards. If you buy something else, magic cards ship free.
Electronic Books

I recently started thinking about electronic books in the form of pdfs and decided to offer one as a freebie...which gives detailed instructions on how to make very nice, secured pdf files with Open Office.
Going forward, I will be offering other such items as well.
Freebies!
Pick one free for each item you buy!

Bonanzle Style Freebies
One of the things I really like about Bonanzle is the ability to offer free items to those who pick things up from you. As I charge $0.25 to ship most items after the first ( the only exception being the 50 lot pick your own comic offer ), freebies are basically items that can be picked up for a quarter each by those who buy other items from me.
Typically, I try to keep at least a few different comic books, books, magic cards, and magazines available as freebies.
If you stop by my booth and pick something up, be sure to check the freebies to see if there is anything among them that you might want.
Want $10.00 off of any order at my booth?
(North America and Western Europe only)

By trying out one of the above services ( or a variety of others ), you can get a coupon from me which is good towards any order placed at my booth.
Many of the services are completely free to try. Those offering trial products believe that if you simply give their service a try, you will continue to stay with them and pay for what they offer. In fact, they are willing to pay me to get you to try their services out.
The way this works is as follows:
1) You sign up for a trial membership or trial product ( most are free for a period of time )
2) Whoever you sign up with pays me what they would have paid an advertiser anywise.
3) I use what is paid to me to provide you with things from my booth which you want.
The end result is that you can pick up items from my booth in exchange for trying out a product or service, usually without paying anything at all.
With a $10.00 coupon from me you can:
- Get any order totaling $10 or less absolutely free.
- OR Get $10 off of any order
Once you have the coupon, simply:
- Get what you want from my booth
- Make an offer, noting that you have a $10 coupon as well as the email you used to get it.
- I will verify the coupon and accept your offer.
- If your total was $10 or less, simply select cash as your payment method and I will get your selection(s) out to you in the mail
- If your total was over $10, select the payment method you wish to use. If paying via cash, money order, etc. mail me the difference. If paying via google checkout or paypal, make full payment and I will refund the difference and send your item(s) out.
Notice:
Coupons good towards both item prices and shipping costs...so it is entirely possible to get multiple items from me ( as well as freebies just like any other order ) by using a coupon.
Also, if you sign up for a trial and then cancel it immediately ( e.g. within two days ), then no coupon will be issued. Give any trial product or membership a chance and see if you like it...and then keep it or cancel it as you feel inclined to do so. Getting a coupon from me comes with no obligation to continue using the product or service chosen.
Shipping and Packaging

I ship items out using new packing material, which is part of the reason that my shipping costs might seem a little high to others.
For comic books I compress them between cardboard slats and ship them in boxes.
For normal books I use a combination of cardboard and bubblewrap and ship them in envelopes or boxes.
For magic cards I place individual cards in hard sleeves and ship them in envelopes.
I combine shipping whenever possible and ship worldwide.
