Today: A Day in the Life

I am the full time Dad

• 7:00 AM -- Wake up time
  
  Colton usually asks me to read his favorite few books about 15 times. I send him on different missions throughout the house so I can check Email and start my day.
• 8:30 AM -- Beakfast
  
  He likes oatmeal and fruit. I keep trying to encourage other foods and he trys them and likes a lot of them but does not want to make it a full meal. He usually has a few bites and then gets bored of it. He loves to look out our South facing Chicago aprtment and point out imaginary airplanes just to trick you to look.
• 9:00 AM -- Out to the park or the grocer
  
  Colton amd I go through a lot of food so we end up at the grocer a few times a week. He gets a kick out of free cheese and meat at the deli counter (so does Dad) and babbles at the top of his lungs. The days at the park I usually get about 500 or so jump ropes in.
• 11:00 AM -- Nap Time (Thank You)
  
  Time for me to get some work done on the computer (Updating my lens now most likely.
• 1:00 PM -- Wakey Wakey
  
  Play time. Puzzles, letters(alphabet genius), books, cars and of course our puppy.
• 2:00 PM -- Lunch
  
  Still mostly jar purees, trying very diligently to eat regular meals.
• 4:00 PM -- Park
  
  You have to get this kid out and run or he will never sleep. Soccer, slides, swings, walks and bird watching are both of our favorites.
• 6:00 PM -- Home for dinner
  
  I am also the cook in the family. I try to make anything and everything.
• 7:00 PM -- Bath time
  
  My sons favorite time of day. He constantly asks to take a bath all throughout the day.
• 8:00 PM -- Night night
  
  I get my next break to do a workout. I like P90X. It is an intense workout for any gender. It is mostly weight free but works you to the point of muscle failure. I also spend a little more time with my side ventures.
