I heard about light therapy before, but never talk with anybody who actually tried it. It is good to know there is one more non aggressive option out there for so many problems... Thanks!

I haven't used light therapy but find it quite interesting, especially for those suffering from psoriasis.

Abreva and Zilactin are effective on how to get rid of a cold sore fast. It can also help prevent especially when applied at an earlier stage. Orajel and Anbesol, on the other hand, can help numb sore areas. Nice lens mate..

I use a set of led light pads every day. They are not only powerful for skin and anti-aging but also promote the production of nitric oxide in the blood. This is phenominal for self healing. Wouldn't be without my light therapy- it is the future of medicine in my opinion- great lens!

I have used tanning beds and the good old sun for years to help my eczema. The sun gives is the vitamin D3 and these light therapies are patterned after the sun. Amazing how we are told to stay out of the sun, yet given steroid creams which cause major addiction in some people like me. I used it all my life, mostly in the winter months and never knew I was addicted until I quit using it. I am now in my 6th month of terrible withdrawals and I wrote an article for Squidoo the other day about it. Thanks for the info.

Acne light treatment or light treatment for Acne has been clinically proven to be effective for most acne patients, with little or no adverse side effects. In some cases, application of the light for 3 consecutive days has been shown to reduce the bacteria in the pores by 99.9%

Great article and research done. It is true that now many doctors are offering in-house light therapy treatments but these are very expensive.
The luminotherapy technology is now available for home use, but I would recommend to all who intend to buy any light therapy lamp or product to consult first with physician or optician.

A great resource - I've got psoriasis of the nails and other (unmentionable) spots, and I think this might be an ideal way to treat it.

Great lens. I have used light therapy for deep tissue damage and it's great. I've also heard of different color light being used for treatment of serious diseases, but I didn't know there were so many different hand held units for skin care treatment.

Hi, you've got a great lens here! I've never used the light or phototherapy because Lickilly I don't suffer from any skin problem. But my friend has psoriasis and this may be interesting for her.
Anyway, good content, I learned something new and it's pleasing for the eye. 5 stars 4U. Keep up good work!
