Life's An Adventure! Learning Should Be Too.
Hands-on activities make learning personal to your child and, like other important events, they should be well documented. Writing a short summary of what's been learned is one way to keep those memories from being lost. It's also makes it easier to share those memories with others.

Welcome to LilliputStation!

This coloring book includes a cover page and a page for each plague with picture and KJV verse related to the plague. There is also a page with a minibook that can be added to a Bible lapbook. Great for Sunday School classes as well as homeschool classes. Two Great Ways To Document Learning
Travelers often use a journal or scrapbook to record their experiences and discoveries. These can also be used to record your learning adventures. We call them "notebooks" and "lapbooks".
“Preserve your memories using one of our fun educational journaling or scrapbooking products!”
Have you ever seen those type of books at the library on historical time periods like The Greek Times or The Roman Times, books that read like newspaper reports and headlines? Well, if you like that creative style of literature, you will love these notebooking pages. Some of the topics included are mathematics, scientific discoveries, nature finds and walks, artists and composers, history (Ancient Times, Medieval, and Modern History), geography and world explorers. There are even blank ones that you can fill in with other topics and make your own.
There are also many templates of each topic for you to choose from as well. Some have graphics but most have blocks that you can fill in yourselves with clip art and pictures of your own choosing.
I highly recommend this awesome product for those of you fellow notebookers out there. Go and take a look. You will not be disappointed!

Hidden Art Lapbook
This lapbook was created to go along with The Hidden Art of Homemaking by Edith Schaeffer. The Hidden Art of Homemaking is an excellent book with lots of wonderful ideas on how to realize your full potential, while creating a fuller, richer homelife for yourself and your family. It covers a multitude of topics including cooking, flower arrangement, clothing, creative recreation, and even integration. This file provides thirty-nine minibooks to record notes as you read through the book. It makes a great study for mothers to do alone or with their daughters.
Write a verse in each of these twenty-four numbered shapbooks as you count down the days until Christmas. An additional minibook bears witness to the fact that Jesus is the reason for the Season. Glue your minibooks into a lapbook base and next year you can use it as you own special advent calendar. Twenty-five un-numbered minibooks allow you to personalize your calendar even more by chosing the order of the books. You can even print extra copies to use as gift tags. This file also contains thirty-three bonus coloring and activity pages.

Let's face it, life is hard. There are people all around in need of encouragement. But how often in life do we really take time to tell those around us that we love them? How often do we neglect the opportunities we have to be an encouragement to others simply because we don't know how? And yet, we as Christians are commanded to minister encouragement to others:Therefore encourage each other with these words 1 Thessalonians 4:18
The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life. Proverbs 10:11
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. Ephesians 4:29
Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:25
One way my family brings encouragement is by lapbooking. Lapbooks for school are a great idea, but lapbook greeting cards are even more fun. On several occasions, the children and I have created special lapbooks for friends with wonderful results. Each recipient was touched because they could tell we had put some time into creating it for them. It had a personal touch that really showed our love for them. And we enjoyed making it because it gave us an opportunity to think about how much we really appreciate that friend.
File Folder Greetings: Encouragement contains all the templates you'll need to create an oversized card for someone who could use an extra smile.

Unit studies are a great way to learn about the world around you. Writing a short summary of things that have been read, stories that have been listened to, or field trips and activities that have been experienced is a great way to "review" learning. It's also makes it easier to share those memories with others. Maps and illustrations can be drawn or copied and pasted into your journal or scrapbook. Photgraphs and small keepsakes from projects and field trips might also be included. Quotes from other adventurers are another nice addition.
