Do you have a favourite brand of pink lipstick? Are you one of those women who always has a lipstick or 2 or 3 in your purse. If you're like me I keep lipstick in my purse, my vehicle, my husbands vehicle, my gymbag, ect. I will admit I never leave my home without my lipstick on. Since I was a young teenager I've been hooked on wearing lipstick. I just love the look and feel of it on my lips. Lipsticks have a way of making you look polished even if that's the only item of makeup you wear. Everyone has there favourite colors and shades but for me, I've never been a fan of red lipstick my favourite color choice is pink. There are hundreds of shades of pink lipstick believe it or not! From hot pink to barely there pink and every shade and tone in between! One can spend anywhere from $5 to $50 and more for lipsticks. What you choose to spend on a lipstick really is a personal/budget choice. So many different brands to choose from. Lipsticks can be purchased at cosmetic stores, department stores, drugstores, and specialty shops too! Here I will share some wonderful brands and shades of pink that I love! Maybe you will be inspired to try a new shade of pink for yourself!

What is in this stuff?

What is lipstick made of? Well generally it consists of these defining ingredients. Waxes, Emollients, Oils and Pigments.

To explain a few:
Matte lipstick contains more wax and pigments but less oil to dull shine
Shimmer lipsticks contain mica or silica particles
Frosted lipsticks contain synthetic pearl for lustre
Cream lipsticks contain a balance of waxes and pigments

    I must admit, that when it comes to having too many of one item, it is tubes of lipstick! Probably because they came free in gift packages. My favorite color is a pinkish color, smoky mauve.

    I can't seem to keep lipstick on longer than 5 minutes....if I ever find a lipstick that really
    lasts and doesn't dry out my lips I am there! I had fun getting to know you a bit through pink lipstick!
