    An interesting lens. I live in south west of England and there aren't too many private pools about - unfortunately. Probably not enough sunshine.

    Ah the nostalgia! Once upon a time nearly everyone in my neighbourhood, in my town, in the whole country, had pools. Now the pools have gone, vanished from the landscape forever, filled in or turned in to sunken gardens. The primary reason for the demise of the pool is lack of water and the inability to stop evaporation. A pity we didn't know about the liquid solar pool cover!
