Almost all customer reviews are positive. Some positive comments include the fact that the Little Giant ladders. are 100% manufactured in the USA, very sturdy, able to withstand misuse, high-quality and extremely easy to use.
The negative comments basically center on the higher price of the product. Ladders can be purchased at other stores for ¼ of the price, yet don't provide the functionality of the system. Several negative comments centered on poor customer service, but this was not a primary theme.
Who makes it?
The Little Giant Ladder systems are manufactured and distributed by a company called Wing Enterprises, based in Utah. Wing Enterprises was named for Hal Wing, who first started importing an innovative new type of ladder in 1972. Eventually, he decided to begin manufacturing this type of ladder and built his business from the ground up, using creativity, good business sense and a desire to build a business for his family.
Some of his manufacturing methodologies are quite unique in this day and age. He is reputed to give his manufacturing employees much more flexibility and power than other manufacturing operations. Yet, his methods seem to work. Wing Enterprises makes a reputed 200 million dollars per year.
Several tidbits about Hal Wing: He yodels, collects cars, has seven children (many of whom are involved in the family business), received the Ernst and Young for Entrepreneur of the Year and was the mayor of Springfield, Utah in the late 1990's.

Although the Little Giant ladders. has been marketed to home users and professionals alike, in November of 2006, Wing Enterprises created a line of the Little Giant Ladder system designed for and marketed to industries, professional contractors and people involved in the construction trades.
In other news, philanthropic activities seem the norm for Little Giant Ladder and Hal Wing. In 2006, a $20,000 donation enabled Victor Hugo Penafiel's to walk again after providing most of the money for the purchase prosthetic legs and an arm.
