Littlest Pet Shop VIPs

My kids were able to play this game mostly on their own, only occasionally needing a little help with reading. The game itself, and the mini games, were easy enough they could work most of it out on their own.

For reference, my son was three and my daughter was seven when we bought them their first Littlest Pet Shop VIP plush pets. He had as much fun as she did dressing up their virtual pets, playing with them, exploring, and decorating their houses.

Kids would earn coins playing the mini games, which they could spend in the store for items for their pets or homes. That's how my son kept his pet monkey in funky hats and sunglasses.

The interest and difficulty levels were suitable for a wide range of ages. I'd even play sometimes, finding some of the games similar to those I've played at POGO and Neopets.

The graphics weren't incredible; their new Littlest Pet Shop Online has better. My kids didn't mind, though. VIP world, despite the occasional game glitch and the simpler style graphics, had a sweet charm, and game overall was easier for the kids to use and love.

The stuffed pets themselves were great. Adorable, and very durable; those we bought outlasted the website and are still favorite toys.

The only real negative we ran into is that their accounts expired one year after the last VIP pet code you entered. They get very attached to their virtual pets, so that, and then Hasbro ultimately just closing the site, led to quite a few tears here.

The codes are attached to your new VIP plush pet's collar. Each was unique, and tied to the pet. Codes couldn't be reused, and now that the VIP world is closed, cannot be used at all.
