Livescribe Pulse Smart Pen 2GB - Best Gadget of The Year...

The Livescribe Smart Pen is now my great assistant for studying. I bought it three weeks ago and I love to bring it with me to attend every lesson. My friends said it was too expensive to spend $200 on the Pen but I think it is totally worthy of the price.

Of course, just like what is stated on its advertisement, it can record everything digitally, including sound and hand written notes. This simple task can actually be done by many other similar digital pen products on the market.

But the best thing is that I can use the pen to tap whatever word on the notes and then I can listen to what is taught about the particular word or topic. It saves lots of my time because I need not play the recording back and forth to find out the main points. Another feature is that the Pen allows me to slow down the speed of the recordings. It helps me clearly hear every word spoken by the tutor so that I will not miss anything.

I think the Pen is the best tool for lazy students. Even though I fall asleep in class, I can still get something from the notes and recording.

One of my friends is a very lazy student. He rarely misses lessons and even though he is physically present, he mentally is not. He asked me for help three days ago because we had a test yesterday. The Pen helps me use my time productively. I no longer have to call my friends when I do not understand what is being taught, because I can listen to my lecturer's voice as many times as I want. I think the Pen bring benefit not only to students, but also to other professions like lawyers, journalist and doctors.
