I spent a better part of my life worrying about what might happen or what I should do. I also spent lots of time with regrets and wishing that I wouldn't done it differently. I was living in a constant state of panic and anxiety. After many years of personal growth, I am now living each and every day to the fullest. I am enjoying life. I am living in the now and you can too.

Present Tense
It was spring, but it was summer I wanted,
The warm days, and the great outdoors.
It was summer, but it was fall I wanted,
The colorful leaves, and the cool, dry air.
It was fall, but it was winter I wanted,
The beautiful snow, and the joy of the holiday season.
It was winter, but it was spring I wanted,
The warmth and the blossoming of nature.
I was a child, but it was adulthood I wanted,
The freedom and respect.
I was 20, but it was 30 I wanted,
To be mature, and sophisticated.
I was middle-aged, but it was 20 I wanted,
The youth and the free spirit.
I was retired, but it was middle-age I wanted,
The presence of mind without limitations.
My life was over, and I never got what I wanted.

Some of my Personal Development Lenses
In order to grow as a person, I had to learn to be grateful for what I have. I needed to get rid of all the negative chatter in my brain and I needed to actually take an active roll in living my life. These 3 lenses share with you some of the lessons I learned along the way. I hope it helps.

Living in the Here and Now
Releasing Control...

Looking back, I know that the biggest obstacle that was holding me back from true happiness was my need to control. I always felt that I had to control and plan and figure out everything. This created stress and worry. It also wasn't much fun. I wasn't living in the Now.
Now I know that things happen in life the way it is supposed to happen. I don't try to change or prevent. It will play out how it is supposed to. I let God "my higher power" control the universe. I get to enjoy life's beauty and live each moment to the fullest.
It is so freeing! I am truly blessed.

- Thanks Wendy for viewing my lens "Emotional Healing." In reference to energy vampires has have a command statement that my wife, Lyn, developed over years as an energy healer for clearing any type of unwanted beings. If you are interested, I will send it to you. Also in regards your "Living in the Now," if one can develop the ability to hold, contain, and be present with any emotion, it will transform on its own. The challenge is that most people tend to unconsciously stop being present with the emotion and the transformation stops.
Blessings,
Michael

- Excellent lens. I agree. God is so much better at handling my problems than I am. It is comforting to know that I can give them to my creator, and simply live.
