Log Cabin Vacation

I don't think I will ever forget that day about a decade ago - when I walked into a real log house for the first time in my life. I felt like that wooden log cabin hugged and welcomed me - and the air inside was woody and comforting just as I imagined my perfect log cabin vacation to be.

In that moment I knew without a doubt that a real log cabin will for ever be my dream house.

If you have the same kind of dream - to live in a cozy log home some day, a good way to make your dreams even more vivid would be to experience it for yourself on your very own log cabin vacation.

And what better place to find your green paradise than a log cabin vacation in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia?

Blue Ridge Mountains area in fall

The blue ridge

The Blue Ridge, or Blue Ridge Mountains is a mountain chain in the eastern United States, part of the Appalachian Mountains, forming their eastern front from Georgia to Pennsylvania. The mountains are well known for their bluish color when seen from a distance. Trees put the "blue" in Blue Ridge, from the hydrocarbons released into the atmosphere, thereby contributing to the characteristic haze on the mountains and their distinctive color.

You call those log cabins? I call them mansions. They are beautiful. We always stay in a log cabin (small one) when we go to my home town of Copper Harbor, MI. (except now we have an RV). The Blue Ridge Mountains looks beautiful. I'm sure we will get there someday.

Spending time outdoors or in Bear Lake cabins for example can give you the relaxation that you need from your busy life in the city. Sit back and appreciate scenic views of nature with your loved ones or friends. We are blessed fro having such beautiful lakes to go fishing and ski slopes for snow boarding and other related activities. You already spend long hours at work and it is time to relieve stress and just have fun!
