Loose Green Tea

I love green tea. And I am especially fond of
loose green tea
because of the amazing flavors the loose leaf tea has. There is just no comparison with green tea in tea bags.

I grew up drinking iced tea, which I still enjoy on a hot day, but once I was exposed to my first loose green tea in college... I was hooked!

My first loose green tea passion was for Jasmine tea. It is still one of my favorites. It is pretty rare for a day to go by where I don't enjoy some freshly brewed Jasmine green tea.

After I moved to the San Francisco area, I discovered the joys of premium loose green teas from exposure to the Chinese and Japanese communities.

Tea rooms are all over the bay area, and loose green tea can be bought in almost every neighborhood in San Francisco.

It's a great spot to be a green tea lover!

But if you don't have access to loose green tea in your local community... you have come to the right place. I'll be pointing out many ways you can get some of the finest green tea the world has to offer, and you won't need to leave your home.

Premium hand picked Chinese green tea and Japanese green tea can be found from many Internet suppliers including Amazon.com.

So where do you start if you are new to this? I recommend a sampler set of loose green tea. (Spend a little extra to get a high quality tea... you'll be glad you did!)

Start with Chinese green teas, and then sample the Japanese green teas. They are both excellent. I have favorites from both countries.

One more thing, and this is important... make sure you have a good brewing setup for your tea. And learn how to brew the tea correctly. Don't use too much or it will be too strong and bitter.

Look for more loose green tea resources here. I'll post them as I find them, so you won't have to hunt them down.
