Los Pollitos Dicen

While this lens is a plug for my business, it's also an exploration of, and introduction to, sweet children's gifts that celebrate the traditional lullaby from which our children's apparel line takes its name.

In this Lens, we offer you a close-up look at Los Pollitos Dicen, and present books and music that compliment our gift line of children's T-shirts and onesies.

I'll also tell you about a few great books and CDs that have helped us teach our 4-year-old daughter to speak Spanish.

I've also included links to free songs and lyrics.

The lyrics to Los Pollitos Dicen

The sweet lullaby is akin to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, popular and beloved

The little chicks say peep, peep, peep
when they are hungry, when they are too cold to sleep.
The mother hen looks for corn and wheat
she gives them food to eat.
Safe under mama's wings, huddling up,
Sleep the little chicks until the next day.
