There are many people in this world who "need" and "want" to lose weight. Many have tried different methods such as dieting, exercise, weight loss supplement etc. to lose weight. They may or may not have got results. In this article I want to highlight apart from above mentioned methods to lose weight, there is one most important thing required to lose weight. Can you guess? They are worded differently .."Reasons", "Motivation", "Desire" . That is why this article focuses on the topic "Why Lose Weight"

In General many people know there are two basic reasons to lose weight

1. Health
2. Appearance.

But these two reason just gives a formal answer and not a bigger picture and reasons to lose weight.

I think before you ask a question "Why lose weight", first few questions that should be asked are

Who do you love most?
Who do you care for most?
What do you want for the ones you love and care most?
What can you do to be around your loved ones to give them what they need?
So what you need to do be around?

The answer to above question would help you derive motivation, desire or reasons and an answer to the very basic question "Why lose Weight".

Top Reasons to loose weight 

Below are two top reasons that in general are thought of to lose weight.

Some people despite knowing health is a big concern, they are not really very serious and tend to ignore the fact that they are putting on weight and there is no compelling reasons, motivation, desire that drives a person to loose weight.

In this article I would like to share the top reasons for me that I think of to lose weight. One or more may be yours too.

1.FAMILY

My Wife, my kids, my parents, brother and a sister. These are my compelling reasons to be healthy and lose weight. I love them and will do every possible thing to be around them. Well Love is not complete with just a feeling of love and care, but it has to be in acts too.

My lovely 8 year old daughter and my 3 year old smarty pants ( my son). I can't imagine not to be around them. Both are very energetic and always wants to be involved with me in some kind of sports , art, music etc. For this I need to be physically fit to be able play with them.

My cheerful wife, who is always there with me in happiness and sorrow. I can't imagine not growing old with her. Cherishing the memories of life spent together.

My Parents - who were always there for me when I was a kid and now its my responsibility to be there for them in their old age. To support them financially , physically and mentally.

My Siblings - who always count on me in their difficult times..

So these are the most important reasons for me to be healthy enough to be around them in good and bad times of life.

My wife once told me that, "for the world you are someone, for someone you are the world" and yes this is my world and I would do every thing to be with them as long as possible.

2.HEALTH


Excessive weight also called Obesity can cause number of risks to your health , a few of them are

1. High Cholesterol
2. High Triglycerides
3. Diabetes
4. High Blood pressure

Other medical issues
1. Knee pains
2. less flexibility
3. Excessive Sweating
4. Bad body odor
5. Very Bad snoring
6. Sleep apnea
7. ESD (Excessive Sleep Disorder).

The above health conditions can be treated , but for that the first step is to lose weight.

3.APPEARANCE




Appearance is yet another reason to lose weight. In this competitive world there is always a pressure to be perfect and look perfect. Every one has a craze to be fit and sexy.
