Nice lens, I thought it was pretty insightful so I decided to give you 5 stars, hey, I have a page that's pretty similar to yours, maybe you can check it out when you have time: Backyard Koi Ponds

    Hi,
    Really GREAT lens.
It was particularily interesting for me as each year I try to grow Bananas (see Growing Bananas Plants) and each year only my Basjoo's survive - all the others just die in our UK winters. Even the Basjoo's have to be wrapped up in horticultural Fleece and then an old blanket to get through the winter so seeing your photo's makes me quite jealous :)

The Purple Gallinules just flew over to check out your lens. The lilies are very inviting.

Most Louisiana irises are finished blooming for this year, at least here in New Orleans. As the leaves begin to yellow, I cut them back, so new growth can begin for next year. The new growth gets pretty big in just a week or so.

Louisiana Iris can, if you really take a chance, can grow as far north as zone 6. Zone 5 is really really iffy. Maybe if you had it facing south and were resigned to losing it every winter, you might be successful, but I doubt it.

Will Lousiana Iris grow in zone 5 northern Indiana?

    Thank you
