This great wonder pulsates through all of life. It feeds us and heals us. It takes us on grand adventures. It invites us to face our deepest fears, to transform ourselves, to serve others from the heart.
Cultivating Your Experience
Have you felt the ways that different practices help you live more fully in harmony with this force of life?Yoga is one amazing method to enhance your ability to love. All of its aspects, including the poses, meditation, and yoga's foundational philosophy support a more complete and fulfilling experience of the loving ocean in which we swim.
Increased awareness, spontaneous gratitude, seeing the beauty in details without loosing sight of the big picture, and choosing to align with the current of grace are all ways yoga leads us to experience love. You can feel it in the healing and opening that comes in the physical body, in the delight of expressing yourself in such a whole way, and in the stillness which invites you to connect to your own essence.
This is the key to balance.
Balancing the World, One Heart at a Time
I invite you to meditate upon the following passage pulled from Anodea Judith's book "Wheels of Life". Sit with the feelings that come up. Read it a few times to really internalize this wisdom.
"Living in balance is living in a state of grace, of delicacy, of gentleness. Love is that which endures, and likewise, what is done with love will endure. That which is out of balance will not endure. Only by being blanced within ourselves can we hope to balance the world.
Self-acceptance is our first chance to practice unconditional love. It doesn't mean that we have to give up striving to be better, but that our self love is not conditional on some future or imagined change."
Take a piece of paper and upon it write: I AM LOVE
With acceptance and compassion for ourselves, it becomes easier to make personal changes and accept others as they are. This is done from love.
As we live life from this practice, the world becomes a brighter and more balanced place because each individual is centered and illuminated from within.

- Katrina, I love this site! Clearly a lot of love and heart made this website real! - Giving thanks for the shared beliefs and values. Starting my day with a healthy spiritual birth, stripped of symbols of status and wealth that camouflages, that feeds the human ego. I walk with gentle steps and listen for the heartbeat of Mother Earth. A sign of respect and pride. Keeps me in the present with a smile from the heart. I give thanks and honor for that breath of fresh air and for that moving water that purifies, heals and protects. I respect and honor the trials you walk, may you be save in your journey.

- for me...balance is the key...if i can know balance and peace within me it will be all i see...all around me...in the earth and the mama sea...in the eyes of everyone i see...balance and healing in lil me...balance and healing in the macrocosm of the wider sea....of all kinds...respect and curiousity for how others find their balance as well is key for me...if i can come from the place of namaste within me i will love others more deeply! yoga, dance and creative movement, laughter, native spirituality, eating good food, learning and stretching my mental muscles, gratitude...these are some of the ways that inspire balance in me.
