Loving Words and Quotes for Grandma or Grandpa

My grandfather was fond of quotes, and of words in general. He had many poems and quotations memorized, that he would often share with others. As a grandchild lucky enough to live close enough to see him a few times a year, this fondness of words rubbed off on me. I am writer (and webmaster) and have affection for and interest in good quotes.

My children, too, have caught the bug. They frequently quote from great old movies and are avid readers of good books. My daughter has notebooks filled with wording she enjoys and my son often stops me to read an especially good passage from a Redwall or other well-written volume. Clever comic strips are taped up on the refrigerator (hey, we're not snobby about our quotes).

Sharing quotes with others is a passion of mine (and probably one of yours, if you are here). Simple words can make a big impact. You never know how a quote might change someone's thinking just a touch or cause someone to have an epiphany. I hope you enjoy the fine words on these and my other quote pages.
