The Secret is Summed-Up in Two Words--Be Available

First of all, by "the right guy" I mean a guy that you want to marry who wants to marry you. There are plenty of great men out there who are willing to commit, but they don't stay on the market long. As a result, you need to be available all the time. I don't mean that you have to stand at the bar wearing a tee shirt that says "I'm Available." (That's just desperate, not available.) What I do mean is that the second you realize the man you're dating is not "the one" you move on. Yes, even if he is cute, funny, and smart, you need to let him go as soon as you know there's not a future. That's what being available means. Women don't meet men when they're already dating someone. For example, you go to a party with a date. The room could be filled with men that are husband material, but you would never know. Only the women who came without dates will get a chance to meet and talk to these men. It's hard to break-up with a really nice guy just because there is no future, and it's hard to go places without a date. In short, it's hard to be alone, but that's the only sure fire way to meet the right guy. Focus on keeping yourself available and you won't be alone for long.
